Personal Summary:
My name is Jason Dalrymple and I am a senior Finance & Banking major at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. I grew up in Edwards, CO and moved to Raleigh, NC when I was 15 years old. I was recruited to run Cross Country and Track at ASU and was side-lined sophomore year after a serious injury. Not letting the injury get me down, I developed an interest in business and entrepreneurship and became heavily involved in Appalachian State's Association of Student Entrepreneurs. I've been designing and hosting websites on the side since high school and have participated in several unpaid internships while in college including a law office and real estate brokerage firm.
Never one to pass up an opportunity to expand my horizons, I spent three months this summer in China; one month with an academic program and two working for a chinese entrepreneur in Shenyang, PRC.
As an only child of a hard-working single mother, I have a strong relationship with my mom and I can't wait to take care of her one day. I often dream of the day I am able to say, "Hey mom, you're not going to work today."
